Ogden-Miley
Founder & Speaker | Chase • True North
Katherine Ogden-Miley is a North Dakota native, keynote speaker, and founder
Chase • True NorthTM. She is a John Maxwell Team Member, DISC trainer,
and facilitator with more than 15 years of experience across parks and recreation
and the public sector.
Katherine’s leadership experience includes guiding teams through change,
uncertainty, and difficult conversations. Her approach was not built from theory
alone. It was shaped by years of serving others, making difficult decisions,
building trust, and learning that leading well begins with leading yourself well.
Through Chase • True NorthTM, Katherine delivers keynotes, workshops, and DISC
experiences that blend honest storytelling, meaningful reflection, and tools
people can actually use. She creates room for people to recognize where they
have drifted, reconnect with their values, understand themselves and others more
clearly, and take the next right step.
Equally comfortable holding her own in a boardroom or kicking dirt down a trail,
Katherine brings both grit and grace to the stage. She believes strong leadership
is always deeply human and personal. She speaks about trust when it matters,
alignment under pressure, growth before certainty, and the courage to keep
moving when the path is not visible.
Her goal is simple: for people to leave feeling seen, steadied, and ready to lead
themselves and others with clarity, confidence, and intention. Katherine makes
her home in Northwest North Dakota with her husband, Pete, and their three
Labrador retrievers.

Elizabeth Phares Oren serves as Director of Client Success at the North Dakota Women’s Business Center, where she supports small business owners and organizations through business advising, program coordination, and strategic client engagement. She works closely with partners, resource providers, and community leaders to strengthen access to training, capital, and practical business support across North Dakota. With a focus on clear communication, measurable outcomes, and relationship-building, Elizabeth helps leaders navigate resources, build confidence, and move their entities forward.
Kayla Deitch
Executive Director|
ND Association of Nonprofit Organizations
Kayla Deitch is the Executive Director of the North Dakota Association of Nonprofit Organizations (NDANO), where she leads efforts to educate, advocate for, and connect nonprofits across the state.
Kayla brings more than a decade of experience in association leadership, operations, and organizational strategy. She is also an entrepreneur and founder of Execla, an operations consulting business she launched in 2023 to help leaders and organizations build stronger systems, streamline operations, and turn big ideas into executable plans.
Her career has included working with leaders at the state, national, and international levels. That combination of association leadership and entrepreneurship shapes her approach at NDANO: practical, collaborative, and focused on understanding what organizations actually need to do their work well.
As NDANO’s first full-time Executive Director, Kayla is focused on strengthening the organization’s statewide presence, building relationships across sectors, and ensuring North Dakota nonprofits have a strong voice in the decisions and conversations that affect them.
